As Customer Quality Engineer (m/f/d) you will provide the best possible service in relation to technical problem solving, servicing our heat pump customers. The position is based in our European Headquarter in Aachen and includes close collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, and others to ensure cross-functional communication and resolution of product issues.

Essential Functions:

• Customer facing function to solve technical problems to support the residential heating market.

• Initiate and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using problem solving methodologies.

• Continuous process improvement to deliver high quality products and solutions.

• Support the New Product Development process to release new products onto the market with the highest quality.

• Drive Copelands quality target of zero defects.

Our ideal candidate:

• Holds an engineering or industrial engineering degree.

• Has relevant job experience in related industry (HVAC/R, automotive,…).

• Shows a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving.

• Is an excellent team player and networker.

• Is fluent in English; other EU language i.e., German or French is a plus.

• Is customer oriented, collaborates, employs effective communication, and ensures accountability.

• Is willing to travel 15% in Europe.

• Refrigeration system know-how is a big advantage.
