Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Expert Acquisition and Requirements Lead for a DoD contract.

Essential Job Functions

  • This individual shall function as the Senior Expert for all acquisition documentation, tasking, and requirements gathering.

  • Develop and implement acquisition strategies/plans for programs that operate new and innovative technology

  • Assist in the procurement of IT hardware and software

  • Elicit requirements and key acquisition topics from partners and employees.

Requirements

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, IT management, or similar, plus ten (10) or more years procurement experience in Army, DoD, or IC, supporting IT, cloud, or other highly complex acquisitions

  • Or: Master’s degree plus eight (8) years

  • Or: PhD degree plus six (6) years

Experience Requirements:

  • Expert-level knowledge and experience in eliciting requirements and key acquisition topics from partners and employees of various labor categories and skills

  • A successful track record on delivering on time and within budget for with large/complex solicitations

  • Experience with developing and implement acquisition strategies/plans for programs that operate new and innovative technology

  • Experience in procurement of IT hardware and software

  • Expert-level knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Contract Management (DAWIA, FAC-C PC, or similar)

  • Shall possess at the time of award, and retain, an active SECRET security clearance
