Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our client's growing team in Bloomington, MN. This position will be responsible for managing daily routes, coordinating logistics, and maintaining service schedules for clients. The ideal candidate works with a strong sense of urgency and has the ability to pivot quickly to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily route schedules and adjust in real time as necessary

• Dispatch service personnel according to the schedule and urgency of service requests

• Maintain constant communication with field staff to provide updates on service assignments, schedule changes, or emergencies

• Coordinate truck maintenance, including preventative maintenance and compliance with DOT regulations

• Monitor the progress of service appointments and respond promptly to any delays or disruptions

• Collaborate with other departments such as customer service, operations, and billing to ensure seamless service delivery

• Document all service requests, assignments, and customer communications accurately in the system

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional and timely manner

• Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a dispatching role or similar logistics coordination experience

• Familiarity with dispatching software

• Knowledge of equipment maintenance protocols

• Understanding of DOT compliance and DOT regulations is essential

• Data entry skills with high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
