RiseBoro Homecare Inc. Recruiter in BROOKLYN, New York
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Recruiter will partner with Lead Recruiter to anticipate and meet the evolving hiring needs of RiseBoro. The candidate will work with the Recruitment team, Program Directors, Supervisors and Business Managers to fulfill vacancies delivering the best talent within the organization. This will require full cycle recruitment, including resume review, sourcing, telephone prescreening and in-person/virtual interviews, drafting offer letters and engaging in community events and career fairs. The Recruiter will have the ability to build a strong pipeline of candidates and to utilize internet Job Boards and other sourcing outlets. Specific responsibilities include:
Facilitate and implement all phases of the recruitment process
Collaborate with department managers to identify needs of open positions
Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and needs of the organization
Post positions on internal and external job sites
Review resumes and conduct phone/virtual interviews
Provide shortlists of candidates to hiring managers
Attend and participates in college job fairs and off-site recruiting events
Draft and send offer letters
Provide administrative support to Lead Recruiter
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with HRIS and ATS systems.
Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience required
At least three years of professional and relevant recruitment experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required
