Regular Full Time Status: Exempt / SALARY

Reports To: Community Relations Development & Communications (CRDC) Director

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)

  • Plan and implement (within the Community Relations Development & Communications (CRDC) Strategic Planning process) donor development strategies, annual giving plans, fundraising/event management strategies, communication strategies related to Development.
  • Provide day-to-day management for the organizations Development activities, including implementing strategies, coordinating activities/record keeping with accounting, coordinating specific events and activities.
  • Assist the Communications Team, CEO, and Director of CRDC at external and internal events as requested.
  • Assist/lead with the Communications Team the creation of messaging strategies and content related to fundraising campaigns, giving campaigns, and approved special events (both internally events and externally sponsored events
  • Work with Communications to create and manage (within the goals of the CRDC Strategic Plan) website, social media, and marketing efforts as related to Development.
  • Coordinate CC Idahos participation in the Ayuda para Nuestras Familieas Relief Fund and other future endeavors.
  • With Communications develop and manage all communications/publication needs of the related to donor development/giving/fundraising; including newsletters contributions, annual reporting, event, or special campaign publication needs, general correspondence related to donors/givers.
  • Working with the Director of CRDC, to create a CC Idaho branded recognition group for high level donors, recurring donors and other significant givers, A CEOs circle.
  • Develop the NEON One (or other CRM) to standardize data entry and donor/giver records, developing processes to analyze, validate and otherwise maintain donor/giver records. Develop standardized donor communications/response processes for acknowledgements, annual ticklers, and linking donors to organizational areas of priority.
  • Work to identify and develop potential donor opportunities; develop stringent protocols related to our CRM management, safeguarding the integrity and security of donor/giver records, and integrating our data-base information/tools.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree in an appropriate field
  • Two years in the development field and preferably non-profit experience
  • Knowledge and skills in fundraising, donor development or other giving campaigns
  • Ability to develop with the Communications Team appropriate communications, publications, brochures, and other related materials for donor giving campaigns.
  • Sales/marketing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work within a Team driven environment, will also be while also being able to work independently, and act strategically.
  • Detail oriented and familiar with data-base management such as NEON One or other CRM products
  • Organized, efficient and self-driven/motivated.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in both English and Spanish in a business setting preferred
  • Ability to travel frequently and overnight both in-state and out of state
  • Current driver\'s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Must pass a background check.

Required Physical Demands

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; to reach with hands and arms; to climb or balance; and smell.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

W rk in an office or classroom setting; may be exposed to electrical shock and fumes or airborne particles; the work may be stressful; the noise level is moderate to elevated.
