Aerotek Manufacturing Assembler in Cibolo, Texas

Description:

Responsibilities: The Assembly Team Member is responsible for operating large-scale manufacturing equipment associated with the plants machining and assembly operations, following company standards and operating procedures. They will be responsible for producing quality outputs necessary to manufacture Automatic Transmissions and Transmission accessories.

Additional Information: They will train in several areas and lines, operating hand tools and machines. They will stand on a line all day and support the team's functions - there is a takt time of 30 seconds - 1 minute to complete every task, and they will do this repeatedly. Perform manual dexterity work involving fingers, hands, and arms in repeated motion, remove parts, machine attachments or waste material from machines **

LOTS OF WALKING -huge plant, must be able to walk up to 3 miles total a day and stand all day. ((Where have they worked before? What do they do in their free time? This will be a good indicator if they are able to do this or exp doing this))

Shift:

1st shift: Monday-Friday 630am-315pm - working 3 hours of OT per day and Saturdays for 6hrs

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 630pm-315am - working 3 hours of OT per day and Saturdays for 6hrs

(roughly 21 hrs of OT a week right now)

EVERY 4 WEEKS THEY WILL ROTATE TO OPPOSITE SHIFT

Pay: $18.50, pay increases every 6 months
