Stant USA Corp. seeks an Sr. Product Engineer in Connersville, Indiana. Domestic and international travel 5%. Duties: Design and develop products for fluid management applications; support commercial opportunities by completing and aligning the product design, bill of materials, validation requirements, and agree and disagree matrix to the customers statement of requirements; prepare technical review documents to present to customer; support launch activities and meetings, and complete engineering tasks, design, and documentation, including drawings, DFMEA and PVPandR; issue and manage engineering changes (internal/external), and ensure proper documentation and execution meets timing and cost requirements of change; and review and approve drawings associated with design release and change process. Minimum education required: Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent foreign degree. In lieu of Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering will accept Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent foreign degree and two (2) years of experience in a Product Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering position with a tier-1 automotive supplier. Special skills required: Education must include one semester of study in each of following: 3D product design and engineering drawing standards; Fluid dynamics and analysis; Design analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA); Material selection and analysis for product design; Dynamics and vibration; Design for manufacturing (DFM) or Value Engineering (VE). In lieu of one semester of study in any of the above, will accept 6 months of work experience in the same.
