Marcom is Apple’s Global Marketing Communications group. We oversee all of Apple’s advertising and marketing to create world-class communications. The Design Team is responsible for the design and art direction of all core communications, including product launches and seasonal campaigns across Retail, Channel, Packaging, Keynote, and Events. Working in a highly collaborative manner, the Design Team works to define and evolve the look and feel of all Apple product art direction, through the focus of experimentation, critical thinking, and extraordinary attention to detail. The Junior Designer is an integral member of the team creating innovative and compelling work from ideation to execution. In this role, you will become instrumental in developing work that inspires the customers for one of the most beloved brands.

Key Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of graphic design experience, with a working knowledge of the principles of graphic design, branding, and art direction.

  • You are naturally curious and passionate about design — with a keen awareness of the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies, resources, and trends.

  • You are a motivated and driven designer that collaborates well with a team to find simple solutions to complex problems.

  • You are a strong communicator that is able to articulate ideas in a clear manner, engage in healthy debate, and accept directional feedback.

  • Good organization skills to file work in a manner that can be shared with the team.

  • Excellent skills with design software, primarily the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Cinema 4D, 3D software, and animation skills are a plus.

Description

You will be a vital member of the team — concepting, coordinating, and collaborating for product launches, hardware art direction, event and branding identities, graphics and signage, retail collateral, packaging design, and special occasion projects.

Education & Experience

BA or BFA degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $34.40 and $51.60/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
