Job Summary: This position is a critical business partner for the Commercial organization and responsible for financial planning & analysis (FP&A) for the Proprietary Products segment representing more than $2 billion in revenue. Responsibilities include supporting the global commercial teams on key monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements as well as ad-hoc analytics required to support global commercial initiatives and business decisions. This role is site agnostic and is global in nature. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports overall market led view and provides insightful analysis and reporting of review for West's Proprietary Products segment. Key contributor in the development of the Commercial function's Strategy, Budget, and Long-Term plans (>$2 billion annual revenue). Translates Market Unit strategy into actionable plans as part of various execution teams. Works closely with Commercial Development, Sales Ops, Accounting, and Legal teams to review and document for tracking and reviewing key terms and conditions within key Customer Contracts. Identifies key accounting related stipulations within Customer contracts, development agreements and addendums to those agreements and communicates to the Corporate Controllers group. Proactively identify and address significant variances from budget, prior year and/or forecast.  Where applicable, proactively communicates situations requiring corrective actions necessary and proposed actions to improve financial performance and forecasted results. Monitors financial performance by measuring trends in revenue, expense, capital deployment and other related areas utilizing key accounting processes (Percent Complete). Reviews and vets forecasts, financial targets and budgets with focus on Revenues and Margin at Standard. Reviews and monitors Sales Incentive Plan. Designs, organizes, conducts and or participates in comprehensive management of projects driven to completion. Prepares high-quality communications, and analysis; presents work in a clear and compelling way. Defines, delivers, and reports business/operational metrics as needed. Becomes proficient in the use of the company's budgeting, forecasting, and reporting software. Support Global SAP S4 HANA implementation where required. Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs. Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules. Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance. Basic Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting. Experience: 10 years of relevant work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Business Partnering, General Accounting, or other related areas. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: MBA, CMA and/or CPA preferred Excellent technical and analytical skills in finance, forecasting, financial analysis, and budgeting. U derstanding of business disciplines to develop, analyze and interpret financial data. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment on a global basis. Strong influencing and change management skills. Present analyses and advocate recommended actions to a variety of audiences with self-confidence. Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and drive projects to completion with tight timelines. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly when facing problems and ability to apply knowledge to new situations. Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Strong work ethic and integrity to handle confidential/sensitive information. Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently. Experience using tools and systems such as SAP HANA, Hyperion, PowerBI, SAP BI, Microsoft Office products etc. Ability to lead teams and build effective working relationships both internally and externally. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Self-starter and results oriented independent worker. Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description. Able to comply with the company's safety policy at all times. Able to comply with the company's quality policy at all times. Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel up to 5-10% of the time domestically and internationally. Physical & Mental Requirements: Sedentary - exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to life, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met Use written and oral communication skills. Organizational skills will enable planning, prioritization & achievement of goals especially of importance for the successful execution of related activities. Position operates in a professional office environment. May stand or sit for extended periods of time. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Read and interpret data, information, and documents. Must maintain the ability to work well with others in a variety of situations. Must be able to multi-task, work under time constraints, problem solve, and prioritize.
