Position Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Acquisition Analyst IV to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing acquisition management across an entire product line, coordinating products and taskings throughout the acquisition process and life cycle phases. You will prepare milestone documentation, assist in determining contracting strategy, and lead various acquisition-related tasks to ensure successful program outcomes.

This position is located in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Execute acquisition management across an entire product line, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

  • Coordinate products and taskings throughout the acquisition process and life cycle phases to meet program requirements.

  • Prepare, configure, and staff all milestone documentation to support program milestones.

  • Assist in determining contracting strategy, preparing contracting documents, and coordinating activities with the Army Contracting Command.

  • Participate in source selection boards and conduct technical evaluations to support decision-making processes.

  • Lead and provide oversight of product Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations.

  • Assist in providing contract oversight for assigned products to ensure compliance and performance.

  • Maintain and manage the program budget and master schedule, identifying cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs.

  • Lead and oversee the preparation of Supply Requests Packages to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and manage the transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment.

  • Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and other acquisition documents to guide program activities.

  • Coordinate contracting actions with local procurement contracting officers to facilitate efficient procurement processes.

  • Perform acquisition strategy requirements to support program goals and objectives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree and over 18 years of relevant experience in acquisition management.

  • Acquisition career specialization aligned to duty assignment (e.g., Program Management, Contracting, Logistics).

  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated skills in managing cost, schedule, performance in a program office, Product Life Cycle Management, Project Team Management, preparing Acquisition and Contracting documents (including J&A, Source Selection Plans, PWS, IGCE, D&F), WAWF, iRAPT, cost analysis, Project Management, database management, GFEBS, DODI 5000.02, Defense Acquisition System JCIDS.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

  • Acquisition career specialization aligned to duty assignment (e.g., Program Management, Contracting, Logistics).

  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated skills in managing cost, schedule, performance in a program office, Product Life Cycle Management, Project Team Management, preparing Acquisition and Contracting documents (including J&A, Source Selection Plans, PWS, IGCE, D&F), WAWF, iRAPT, cost analysis, Project Management, database management, GFEBS, DODI 5000.02, Defense Acquisition System JCIDS.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500.00 - $209,100.00.
