Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Fresno, California

Description We are offering a role in the manufacturing industry based in Fresno, California, 93706, United States. This role is for a Human Resources (HR) Manager who will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The selected individual will be responsible for managing labor relations, benefits administration, HR audits, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are in line with the overall business strategy.

• Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.

• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

• Maintain and revise the company’s handbook on policies and procedures.

• Conduct and report on regular HR audits to ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal policies.

• Administer benefits programs such as health insurance, leave policies, and 401k - RRSP Administration.

• Manage labor relations, including negotiation and management of collective bargaining agreements with the union.

• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, mitigating risks and managing disputes effectively.

• Organize training and development initiatives to meet company and employee needs.

• Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now

• Expertise in Compliance

• Proficiency in Employee Relations

• Expertise in Time and attendance

• Proficiency in managing Leave of Absence and Leave Requests Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources managerial role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficient in ADP Workforce Now

• Demonstrated ability in compliance with HR laws and regulations

• Proven experience in managing employee relations

• Ability to manage time and attendance effectively

• Experience with leave of absence and leave requests management

• Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong decision-making skills and a proven ability to manage confidential information

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
