What will you do?

Responsibilities:

The IT Business Analyst is responsible to make a partnership by enabling business success in Korea through business initiative analysis, business project execution and business application support. They will fulfill the responsibility with partnering with end user, local business leaders and regional/global application delivery teams. Leadership is a key factor for this role to identify improvement opportunities, lead changes with collaboration, and aim for IT and business targets. It is also a requirement for this role to work with teams and departments jointly to fulfill the overall goal of Korea IT team.

The key responsibilities include:

Business partnership

  • Partner with commercial business groups and functions, understand business challenges, bring together business requirements, propose, evaluate and deploy business solutions and system platforms to meet business needs and drive business growth

  • Understand and analyze existing business processes, identify gaps between systems and user processes, find issues and opportunities, propose process improvement and system enhancements, develop and deliver system solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity.

  • Communicate and present Korea business case to regional and global teams, gain global buy-in and support, and get local requirements addressed and global systems implemented and customized to satisfy Korean market specific needs

  • Align priority with business goals and IT roadmap, focus on business priority to achieve goals and chip in to business success.

  • Develop and handle good relationships with user groups and all stakeholders, establish and maintain relationships with key customer accounts and vendors

Project management

  • Plan, lead, and implement projects following solid project management methodology to implement and enhance business systems, and ensure project completion on time, within scope and within budget

  • Document business processes, system technical specs and solutions, and project requirements, share with and present to users in an effective and easy-to-understand way.

Application Operation

  • Provide application support (mainly for ERP)

  • Work and coordinate with global IT teams and regional offshore support and development teams to review and resolve system issues in a timely and quick manner to minimize business impact and maintain system availability and reliability

Minimum Qualifications - Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Solid knowledge in ERP such as SAP / Oracle E1 and relevant business process (mandatory)

  • 2+ years of ERP or Enterprise Application management experience

  • 2+ years of IT Project Management experience (PMP certification preferred)

  • Preferred to have a knowledge in CRM or other key IT applications

  • Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Fluent English communication skill in both written and verbal and Korean as fluent speaker

  • Superb communication and social skills

  • Working experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical/biotech industry for a multinational company (Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Technical training or certification in related skills is preferred.

  • Work under stress with positive & proactive mindset
