We're seeking a skilled full-stack engineer to join our LATAM team at Tech9! This role requires someone who is willing to be a polyglot and has the capacity to quickly adapt to new environments. This role is 100% fullstack and is for those who are comfortable with both front and backend development.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design, develop, and implement features across the full-stack.

• Explain, debug, and compile idiomatic code .

• Break down complex problems into manageable tasks and execute solutions effectively.

• Participate in daily standups and actively contribute to a transparent and collaborative Scrum team environment.

• Proactively communicate and collaborate with team leaders, project managers to identify and resolve potential roadblocks

• Work with ambiguous requirements and be able to change coding environments and languages quickly

• Clearly communicate technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.

   

  Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent professional hands-on experience with full-stack development (minimum of 5+ years)

• Strong hands-on coding abilities as well as ability to explain, debug, and compile code

• Solid understanding of functional programming concepts 

• Good understanding of data pipelines, data modeling, etc.

• A strong track record of working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Ability to quickly adapt to new languages and environments

• Strong familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.

• Proactive communication and collaboration abilities (cross-platform communication), especially in an agile environment

• The ability to think critically, analyze situations, and propose well-considered solutions.

• A passion for clean code, maintainability, and best practices.

• Advanced oral and written English skills (C1+)

• Ability to work between 10 AM - 4 PM MT (flexible within PT-ET range)

  Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for our Mid-Senior Fullstack Engineer positions. Please note that this is what we expect the process to look like. We may ask you for supplemental information or require an additional step before making a final decision.

• 30-minute screening with a member of our Recruitment team

• 1-hour Google meet/Zoom technical interview with one of our senior-principal-level engineers

• 1-hour technical/cultural interview with a Tech9 hiring manager

• 2 Client-Level technical interviews (further details will be given in the recruitment screen)
