We are seeking a talented individual to join our clients team as a Power Electronics Design Engineer. This is a Direct Hire opportunity located in Katy, Texas. If you are passionate about power electronics and possess the skills and experience outlined, we encourage you to !!!

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum 5 yrs experience in power electronics design.

  • AutoCAD

salary: $100,000 - 125,000 per year

work hours: 6am to 2pm

responsibilities:

  • Designing system-level and detailed circuitry for power electronic circuits, including control and interface circuits, to meet engineering specifications.

  • Collaborating with overseas engineering or technical support groups for product localization.

  • Conducting tests, analyzing test data, and preparing comprehensive test reports to document operational performance and ensure product compliance with customer requirements and relevant industry standards.

  • Specifying components for integration into drives, photovoltaic inverters, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).

  • Contributing technical content for product manuals to ensure clear and comprehensive documentation.

  • Participating in and sometimes leading design reviews, both internally and with customers, to address technical and program management challenges.

  • Managing Design-To-Cost initiatives in coordination with other departments.

  • Providing support to various company functions throughout the manufacturing process, including operations, procurement, planning, program management, testing, and external vendors, to facilitate the successful realization of designs.

  • Experience level: Experienced

  • Minimum 5 years of experience

  • Education: Bachelors (required)
