Purpose of Position: With guidance from Corporate Production Planning, this position will be responsible for being the point person at the plant for all production planning efforts, including providing scheduling guidance to the plant to ensure the production schedule is adhered to in order to service our customers on time and in full. Essential Job Functions: Serves as point person for Corporate Production Planning team to communicate production schedule Directs production schedule for the plant to ensure orders are accurately produced on-time and in-full Identifies scheduling opportunities that unlock labor/line efficiencies improvements, as well as provide insights for logistics optimization Hourly checks with management team to ensure production schedule is being adhered to Timely report out to Plant Management and Corporate Production Planning team all production issues Monitor inventory levels and ensure product does not age out and is used timely Complete all product management tasks related to new product roll outs Develop and maintain process for accurate system planning for production Additional Functions: Special assignments as needed and vacation coverage for the department Qualifications Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor degree in business, statistics or related field - preferred Three-Five years production planning / scheduling -preferred Inventory Control experience preferred. Strong Computers skills proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP Systems Excellent communication, organization and planning skills. Strong Customer Service values. Desire to work in a fast pace environment and interact with a wide variety of employees and departments. Have the ability to influence through indirect authority is essential.
