Yanfeng US Automotive Interior Systems II LLC Supervisor Production - 3rd Shift in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Summary:
The Supervisor Production is responsible for directing all activities within the assigned area of the production departments. Ensures the on-time production of quality products. Provides production expectations and quality feedback to team members. Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met. Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report. Monitors quality of product throughout the production process. Ensures job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforced. Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Planandschedule personnelin cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e.vacation, temporary workers, overtime work).
Provides production expectations and quality feedbackto team members in daily start up meeting.
Monitor daily established productionrequirements throughout the shiftto ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are metwhile ensuring HSE and 5S policies and standards are followed.
Train and monitor employeeperformance toensure operator is certified andoperator training matrix is updatedand meeting departmental targets.
Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report. Distribute to manager and appropriate operations and support personnel.
Ensure complianceof the UAW contract, team member handbook, safety guidelines, all rules, programs and procedures that pertain to production team members.
Monitors quality of product throughout the production process.
Ensures job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforced.
Participates in Team Leader meetings and Quality initiatives.
Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent
3-5Minimum Years of Experience with Production.
1-3MinimumYears of Experiencewithin the automotive industry.
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
Computer literacy.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
