CAE USA INC Business Analyst in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada

Role and Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst within our team, you will:

  • Utilize business enterprise knowledge to gather insights on organizational direction and goals, making decisions and recommendations aligned with the company's strategy and financial objectives.

  • Understand customer business needs and translate them into IT-specific requirements. Develop comprehensive business requirement documentation, evaluate benefits, outline options, and propose solutions.

  • Effectively communicate technical and business concepts, ideas, and conclusions both orally and in writing.

  • Analyze current and future trends of best practice, identifying issues impacting organizational processes and translating findings into continuous improvement activities.

  • Take initiative to identify and address obstacles, issues, and opportunities, anticipating and defining problems, seeking root causes, and implementing timely solutions.

  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to pursue common missions, vision, and mutual goals, involving key players in the decision-making processes.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy, defining and organizing tasks, responsibilities, and priorities, and ensuring timely completions.

    Qualifications:

  • University degree or diploma in Accounting/Finance or relevant experience.

  • Proficiency with financial ERP systems, particularly Oracle platforms.

  • Understanding of Data and BI architectures.

  • Passion for technology and advancing automation.

  • Knowledge of database structures.

  • Interest in system and information security.

  • Capacity to make strategic decisions with confidence.

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • High interpersonal and communication skills in both French and English.

  • Highly motivated, team player, thrives on challenges, and delivers exceptional results.

  • Dedication to customer service for internal clients.

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.

  • Knowledge of agile methods and principles.

  • Experience with the Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Microsoft SSMS, Microsoft Excel
