Description

Robert Half is in search for a Controller who will lead our accounting operations as Controller! You'll oversee all aspects, from daily tasks to strategic improvements. You'll work closely with the CFO to strengthen our financial foundation and fuel our mission. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting functions (payroll, A/R, A/P, etc.)

• Ensure timely financial close and reporting

• Safeguard financial integrity through strong internal controls

• Lead, mentor, and retain an accounting team member

• Drive process automation and streamline operations

• Manage grant/fund accounting and tax filings

• Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting and forecasting

• Analyze financials and provide insights to leadership

• Champion our core values: Leadership, Respect, and Integrity

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field (CPA a plus)

• 6+ years of accounting/finance experience (2+ years in leadership)

• Proven leadership and mentoring skills

• Expertise in GAAP and experience with audits

• Non-profit and fund accounting experience required

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel a must

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Adaptable, results-oriented, and detail-oriented
