JPMorgan Chase Control Manager Analyst-Client Onboarding & Documentation in Plano, Texas

As a Control Manager Analyst in Client Onboarding & Documentation (CO&D), you will be responsible for managing the controls data globally, including identifying and monitoring risks and ensuring compliance with operational policies, control procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements. The controls data will support the end-to-end Wholesale Know Your Customer (KYC) organization by providing management with sufficient information to determine potential gaps in controls and monitor key operational risks and regulatory activities/concerns. The Control Manager Analyst will partner with critical stakeholders including Operations, Regional Control Managers, Compliance, Technology, and Audit to ensure alignment to firm standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Synthesize large amounts of information efficiently and effectively into clear and concise messages to be relayed to CO&D Controls Leads and key stakeholders

  • Create strategies and technology to test remediated control gaps

  • Collaborate with teams to identify best data output for client need, efficiencies, and assist in automation of controls

  • Identify database and reporting errors and take corrective action to ensure data accuracy

  • Manage complex queries and data cleanup process

  • Ensure accuracy and retrieve information from reporting and computer databases

  • Develop and customizing reports, creating formulas and streamlining routines

  • Advise on and continually reassess key risks and appropriateness of controls to ensure timely identification of significant risks and issues to support an evolving business & regulatory environment

  • Deliver under tight deadlines in an aggressive and dynamic environment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 1 or more years of experience in financial services industry with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance; or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function/operation

  • Ability to conduct complex testing in a clear, cohesive framework

  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail

  • Track record of developing and executing reports that meet client needs but also identify the reports best suited to meet these requests

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) and/or Anti Money Laundering (AML)

  • Experience with MS SQL database, queries, stored procedures, and functions

  • Capable of synthesizing and summarizing complex data or findings to drive decision making

  • Creating and running data feeds in various formats including text files (delimited and fixed width files), XML, JavaScript (Node).

  • Experience with report automation and working with large data sets

  • Experience in leveraging new technologies, data & analytics, etc.

This is a hybrid role which requires going into the office 3 days a week with 2 days flexibility to work from home, which is subject to change.

Final Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.
