     LPOSD IS HIRING DRIVERS

• Substitute Bus Driver's hourly rate is $17.36

• If applying for a permanent position as a bus driver, starting hourly rate is $18.47 - $23.39/hour, depending on experience

School Bus Flex Drivers provide bus transportation in the regular driver's absence. As a substitute driver, you not eligible for benefits. LPOSD hires bus drivers to scheduled routes from the Flex Driver pool.

This is a continuous recruitment position. Work hours and assignments will vary.

Minimum Qualifications

- Age 21 or older - Satisfactory driving record - Ability to meet the physical examination standards of the Federal Motero Carrier Safety regulations - Ability to maintain valid Commercial Driver's License with School Bus and Passenger endorsements, and air brake qualified - First Aid & CPR Certification provided
