Under the direction of the Continuous Improvement Manager, Clerk II is responsible for the delivery, facilitation, design, and development of training for Arkansas Faucets Operations’ associates and contingent workers as assigned.

Shifts Available First Shift Monday -Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Second Shift Monday-Thursday 5pm-3am

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with HR to ensure that all new employees receive the necessary on-boarding training and that their records are properly documented.

Responsible for the development, implementation, delivery, facilitation and monitoring of various training programs targeted to the plant operations including safety, quality, delivery, employee relations, product assembly, computer skills, materials, etc.

Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to recommend, develop, and implement skill gap closures for AFO departments and individuals.

Maintain and update the training database, ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date.

Provide reports and data analysis on training completion rates, identifying any gaps or areas of improvement.

Assist in the coordination of external training programs, including registration, payment, and scheduling.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in training record management, recommending improvements and implementing new processes as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to training and record keeping.

Responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of an associate learning lifecycle by assessing and linking curricula to required job competencies.

Implement blended learning solutions by assessing the best delivery media for learning experiences such as instructor-lead, virtual classroom, self-paced, mentoring, web-based, etc.

Conducts train-the-trainer sessions to certify Kohler associates to use the virtual classroom.

Achieves and maintains certifications on assigned curriculum.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

Supervisory Relationships:

This position reports to the Manager, Continuous Improvement.

There are no formal direct reports for this position. However, the position temporarily supervises training participants when they are attending training sessions. This supervisory responsibility includes coaching, development, performance assessment, and formal feedback.

Organization Relationships:

This position interacts heavily with hourly manufacturing associates, contingent workers, front-line leaders, supervisors, managers, and the AFO Leadership Team.

External Business Relationships:

This position occasionally works with vendors who supply materials, services, and support of training classes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness of training records.

Proficient in using training management software and databases.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

One to three years in training coordination

Knowledge of training and development principles and practices.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to training record keeping.

Strong understanding of data privacy and confidentiality.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.

Strong ethical and professional conduct.

Certification or training in record management or related field is a plus.
