Where You'll Work

Our Sturtevant, WI location is part of our Meat Division and creates dry seasoning blends for meat and snacks items that spice up the life of Kerry customers. What You'll Do

The typical hiring range for this role is $24.50 to $25.50 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. Hours are 5 am to 5 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for All Batching & Pulling Operators:

  • Works in Batching & Pulling Department

  • Can follow SAP recipe.

  • Fills new bags, labels, and pallet stacks for blending.

  • Can Measure Product on Scale/Weights.

  • Follows all GMP and Quality standards.

  • Maintains room cleanliness.

  • Understanding of computer data and how it is to be entered accurately into SAP.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a hazard free work area.

  • Attends Tier 1 Meetings and Provides input as requested

  • Maintain work area in a clean and safe manner.

  • Maintain GMPS, PPE, and 5S standards.

  • Reports all Accidents and Near-misses immediately.

  • Ability to operate forklift for required tasks.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Position reports to the Batching & Pulling manager and follows direction of the Batching & Pulling lead on shift.

What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe

  • Organizational & excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.

  • Basic computer experience.

  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.

  • Previous manufacturing and blending operation experience preferred.

  • Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment preferred.

  • Previous experience with scanners/RF guns preferred.

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Ability kneel, bend, squat, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.

  • Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments. Environment may be dust filled at times

  • Ability to lift continuously.

  • Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.

  • Ability to walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day.

  • Ability to continuously stand/walk up to 12 hours.

  • Ability to climb stairs or ladder.
