Crouse Hospital Breast Patient Nurse Navigator in Syracuse, New York
The Breast Patient Nurse Navigator ensures timely access and seamless coordination of services to all patients by assisting with access issues, developing relationships with services and tracking interventions and their outcomes.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE
Required:
â— Graduate of an accredited nursing degree program
â— Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
â— Certification as a Certified Clinical Breast Examiner through MammaCare and National Consortium of Breast Centers National certification (CBPN-IC) required within one (1) year of hire.
â— Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.
Preferred:
â— Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
IF HIRED OR LICENSED AFTER 1/1/2017
â— Graduate of an accredited Nursing degree. MUST complete BSN (Bachelors in Nursing within 8 years of hire date into the Registered Nurse position)
EXPERIENCE
Required:
â— Five (5) years or more of related nursing experience within a Breast Care Program, Medical/Radiation Oncology, or Surgical Services setting.

Salary Range for 20 hour/week Schedule
$37,500 - $42,500/ annually
