THE WORK

As a Production Scheduler at Lockheed Martin, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of our production processes. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.

Coordinating material requirements and movement between warehouse/storeroom and production areas.

Monitoring work in progress, material availability, and potential production issues, providing regular updates to management.

Scheduling equipment and personnel, aligning with production needs and resource availability.

Preparing work orders or purchase requests based on master production schedules, shop load, and inventory requirements.

Coordinating interdepartmental activities, collaborating with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and other relevant teams.

Expediting the movement of parts through move orders, stock transfers, and shipping order requests.

Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the production scheduling process.

Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2+ years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

* Experience in a production environment

* Excel and Microsoft Office

Desired Skills:

Advanced degree

SAP experience

Previous Sikorsky experience

Previous leadership experience

Previous procurement experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
