Guthrie Informatics Analyst – Quality Data - Informatics - Full Time (Hybrid) in United States

Position Purpose:

Provides expertise and analytical support for the corporation by interpreting data sets and provides key insights to help answer questions, solve problems, and help with making critical business decisions. Provides training and analytical support for the corporation through reporting and interpretation of physician quality outcomes data related to service line performance, Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) and physician quality incentives. Act as the subject matter expert with our Vizient CDB product along with other department specific databases as needed. Interfaces with a variety of internal and external organization databases to obtain required data.

Population Served:

System and Facility senior leaders, Informatics team, service line leaders, medical directors, Patient Safety, Quality, Operational Excellence and other Caregivers.

Job Responsibilities

Acts as the subject matter expert with key reports and methodology in the Vizient solution, such as, Clinical Outcomes Reports, Quality and Safety Management Reports, Vitals in Performance (VIP) tool, Quality & Accountability Study.

•Understands and stays up to date on physician credentialing requirements related to OPPE.

•Assists with building physician dashboards related to OPPE and service line quality tracking.

•Acts as the subject matter expert with predictive tools such as Star Ratings Calculator.

•Develops meaningful reports utilizing systems including but not limited to, Vizient CDB, Press Ganey, Get with the Guidelines, The Joint Commission and CMS.

•Maintaining a knowledge and understanding of federal, state, regulatory and internal informatics requirements.

•Analyze and communicate results to key stakeholders to help drive improvement throughout the organization.

•Present insights using our analytical solution to key stakeholders at a regular cadence or as needed.

•Serve as a liaison to answer frequently asked questions.

•Share knowledge of Vizient resources and keep leadership and peers current with new features and enhancements.

•Participates in regular reviews of the Data Quality Report (DQR)

•Report data in a comprehensive and repeatable way

•Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.

This position will complete special projects as assigned. This position may include other responsibilities such as data integration, maintenance of applicable databases and other supporting databases.

Experience:

•Expertise with Power BI preferred.

•Successful experience managing the OPPE process.

•Successful experience managing Vizient CDB preferred.

•Experience with data analysis and statistics required.

•Familiar with SQL or other query languages

•Experience using Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools required.

•Experience in training others

•At least 2 Years Healthcare Experience

Education:

•Bachelor's degree required.

•Master's degree Preferred.
