Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our client's team in West Hollywood, California. The primary function of this role will be to oversee the operations of the finance department including accounts payable, billings & collections, payroll, and financial reporting. You will play a crucial role in managing customer credit accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining accurate customer credit records.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, payroll

• Prepare month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

• Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management

• Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection

• Present monthly financial reports to the executive committee and partners

• Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

• Research, plan and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed

• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis

• Work closely with the executive team and partners to facilitate efficient and effective operation

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with DCAA requirements and compliance

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Demonstrable experience in Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven skills in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes.
